Just discovered a great way to use up cake scrap and rum to make a great dessert. Its called Rum Balls. Sure its not new to some but I recently discovered it and have falling in-love with its' simplicity.
I don't have a recipe, just eyeballed the ingredients till it comes together and tasted like its name. Taste of the rum maybe mild or strong, just depend on the people consuming it. The balls are normally rolled in melted chocolate and topped with anything (like nuts).
Should start experimenting with different liquors and try getting a recipe together.
Will post the recipe when I finalize it.
